My name is Brandon Peoples and electronic music has served as a large contribution to overall my growth and who I am as a person. It is a passion that defines who I am since I was in diapers. In my memory, there are fond recollections of dancing in diapers as a toddler to the sounds of techno. As a teen, I would lock myself inside of my mom’s car while listening to live trance sets on the car stereo that were burned to CD’s. By definition, I am what you would refer to as a “musical empath”. Music by definition is:
“vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.” An empath by definition is “a person with the paranormal ability to apprehend the mental or emotional state of another individual.”
When you combine the two, you have the embodiment of myself. This is why I started this blog.
In addition, I also make reaction style Youtube videos. By doing so, it provides me with a creative outlet to share with the world a raw, unedited version of a musical empath’s emotional journey as they listen to their favorite genre of music. I have been producing music since I was 14 years old and understand the deep inner-workings of the genre. I even started my very own record label called “VycVyper Recordings” by myself Brandon Peoples back in 2012 at the age of 20. By sheer memory, I have a knowledge base of hundreds of artists and thousands of tracks.
Electronic music has been my solace and form of emotional refugee all throughout my life. It was a vice that I could run to for comfort as a form of escapism. The only problem was finding a community where I could interact with like-minded individuals. The only way I felt this was possible was attending an actual rave. So I brought that concept to the online world to try my hand at building a community of fans of electronic music. That’s what led me to start this blog, “Techno-addicts.com”. And here I am.
